Another weekly challenge held at OzComics. Since it's my choice for this week, I decided not go half assed on my submission. I picked this dude because not only he's such a cool looking character but I don't see enough of him in the OZ community. Plus, I want a new poster for my room ;) Done on and off since yesterday morning and finished this evening. Here it is my take of Hellboy! based more off the comic than the movie, hence the 'no pupil' eyes. I've included the steps for those who may be interested to see. Cheers!
There were a couple of failed attempts before I settled on this 'portrait' composition.
My last week's submission was a full body pose, so now I wanna do something else.
Working out values. I spent most of the time here before going into colours.
