Surface

Here's a couple of shots I just finished working on for an online contest over at the awesome sixyears later. The theme is 'Surface' so my idea is fairly straight forward. The scene is basically of the earth in six years time and there's this lone soldier dude and his dog who's just chillin' by the ocean with abandoned buildings in the background and suddenly, this beautiful woman came out of the ocean...how would she react when she sees the man and what she has dicovered in the 'surface'.

I wil post the finished colour version IF I make it into the magazine! Well, I think I'll post it anyway later on in the near future.

Anyways, here's a couple of steps from pencil to inks. Cheerio!

Tweaked a few things from the dude and the dog and here's the finished linework.
